Our story

Trees and the people around them

Colourful Tree Services offers experience, reliability and expertise in eco-friendly arboriculture. Patrick started out in garden care in 1993 and has been working with trees for more than 20 years.

We believe in preserving trees along with ensuring safety for the people around them. We are a team of experienced and qualified professionals who apply careful planning to carry out projects for residential and commercial clients.

Very little goes to waste: the green waste from our jobs goes back into mulch.

Why "Colourful"?

Most people only get called colourful in the speech at their funeral. We'd rather earn it while we're still here.

So the shirts are bright, the logo is bright, and we want you to remember the crew for the right reasons.

The frog up a coconut tree in our old logo stands for Patrick's place of origin, New Caledonia, which is a lot like Queensland in its climate and landscapes.

Since 1993

From garden care to tree work

Patrick started in Brisbane gardens in 1993 and moved into tree work more than 20 years ago. Family owned and run the whole way, through more than 20 storm seasons in trees.

All of that experience goes into every quote: honest advice about what your tree actually needs, safe work, and a clean yard when we leave.

Our equipment

Our elevated work platform (EWP) is run by licensed operators. It lets us work safely on big trees in backyards with tight access.
